'Artcore Junglist' is a mini-mixtape of my older tunes and not an EP or an album.

I was apprehensive about putting this collection out because some of these tracks were really old projects with crusty sounds and terrible mixdowns which required salvaging more than creating.

However, I felt they deserved a release for two reasons. First, they mark the end of a chapter in my writing process. With each of these tunes, I discovered techniques and aspects which, hopefully, are going to remain a big part of my sonic signature. Secondly, they have a common musical thread running through them - Jungle. To be more specific, the ambient or atmospheric side of jungle some people like to call ‘Artcore Jungle’.

This is my tribute to that wonderful jazzy spaced out sound of jungle, which I fell in love with many years ago, interpreted through a musical terrain familiar to me.

I hope to continue this series, releasing more such roots based volumes at musical checkpoints down the line.
